Researcher: I'm interested in your DNA-Pure™ Yeast Genomic Kit. With which strains of yeast has this kit been successful?

TechTALKer:The Yeast Genomic Kit has been successful on the following strains of yeast: Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Schizosaccharomyces pombe, Pichia pastoris, and Candida famata. Other species with similar cell wall compositions should work as well. In addition to yeast, this kit also can be used for gram positive bacteria. Successful isolations of genomic DNA have been performed using the following bacterial strains: Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus thuringiensis, Bacillus anthricis and Staphylococcus aureus.
